Grand Prix de Lima de judô: Brasil conquista ouro, prata e bronze no segundo dia de competições

Nesta segunda-feira (13), a delegação brasileira terá a chance de conquistar mais dez medalhas

O Brasil foi ao pódio três vezes neste domingo (12), segundo dia do Grand Prix de Lima de judô. Duas vezes bronze olímpico, Daniel Cargnin foi o campeão na categoria até 73 kg. Nauana Silva ganhou a medalha de prata até 63 kg, e Gabriel Falcão venceu no golden score para conquistar o bronze na categoria até 81 kg.

Na final da categoria até 73 kg, Daniel Cargnin venceu o francês Dayyan Boulemtafes, de apenas 19 anos. A luta foi muito disputada e definida apenas a menos de dez segundos para o fim dos 4 minutos. Foi necessária a intervenção do vídeo para que o yuko fosse creditado para o brasileiro de 27 anos.

"Meu primeiro ouro em Grand Prix. É muito importante", afirmou Cargnin, que revelou que o desempenho nos Jogos de Paris-2024, quando terminou na 17ª posição, ainda o incomoda, à Cazé TV.

Entre as mulheres, na categoria até 63 kg, Nauana Silva, de 22 anos, chegou à final contra a canadense Jessica Klimkait, mas com menos de um minuto de luta foi derrotada por ippon e ficou com a medalha de prata. Nauana é a 11ª do ranking mundial da categoria e deve entrar no top 10.

Dona de dois pódios olímpicos (ouro no Rio-2016 e bronze por equipes em Paris-2024), Rafaela Silva perdeu a disputa pelo bronze diante de Kaja Kajzer, da Eslovênia, também por ippon.

O dia da delegação brasileira em Lima terminou com o bronze de Gabriel Falcão, de 22 anos, que conseguiu um wazari com mais de 4 minutos do golden score no combate com o finlandês Eetu Ihanamaki.

Nesta segunda-feira (12), no último dia do Grand Prix de Lima, o Brasil terá quatro representantes entre as mulheres (Beatriz Freitas e Karol Gimenes, até 78 kg, e Giovanna Santos e Kátia Alves, acima de 78 kg) e seis entre os homens (Guilherme Schimidt e Rafael Macedo, até 90 kg, Giovani Ferreira e Leonardo Gonçalves, até 100 kg, e Lucas Lima e Rafael Buzacarini, acima de 100 kg).
